The Count of Monte Cristo / Edmond Dantès (Gankutsuou)

The way the animations in this series were created are an outstanding masterpiece of outlines, pattern and 3D-modelling.
Gankutsuou itself as an imaginative adaption of the original story by Alexandre Dumas shines on screens with a very high character deepness combined to a soft fantasy background.
A stylish & dramatic charakter.

Worn on AnimagiC 2007 and a bit later on a local Animexx Meeting, the costume sadly became too small soon. But the cape is still alive and a lovely accessoire for cold days at home :3
P.S.: What a GREAT Haydée cosplay with the harp, don't you think so?!
