Alucard
(Hellsing TV series / Ultimate OVA)

When I saw Hellsing the first time in 2003 on VIVA, I was equally shocked and fascinated of the intro, recorded the first episode on VHS and watched it again and again, I think over a dozen times cause of the captivating characters, atmosphere and paintstyle.

Alucards background story, overall behavior and escalating powers were the reasons for building the cosplay I feel the most.

The strange grin and some creepy faces needed lots of training and sometimes a bit of Make-Up, too. Not to say the camera technics from therefore were really unsatisfying when it came to night shots...

On conventions and LARPs, it have always been so much fun making the most creepiest faces and provocating poses :D
